INTERROGATE YOUR PLATE
CREATED FOR:
Mid-semester project for Design Realization course during the Fall 2016 semester.
PROJECT SCOPE:
We were tasked with presenting a creative brief detailing a campaign involving an aspect of the food industry.
KEY INSIGHTS:
1. There is a lack of transparency from companies and government involved in the food industry.
2. Millennials are the most health conscious generation, but often are unaware or have inaccurate or conflicting information when making purchasing decisions.
3. Consumers, especially millennials, want authentic experiences to connect with other socially conscious individuals.
WHAT I DID:
I proposed the Interrogate Your Plate, an interactive digital installation designed for the clock tower in the Tom Bradley International Terminal of LAX. Passerby would be funneled towards the center of the terminal to participate in educating one another and thinking more deeply about the food that purchase, prepare, and consume. Participants would interact with the exhibit through asking questions, answering with stickers, and learning through a smartphone virtual reality app.
PROGRAMS USED:
Adobe Illustator, Adobe InDesign
